Did you know that fire hydrants aren't always painted just red? Amerex Environmental Engineer Tamara Wright saw this firsthand on a recent trip to Cherokee, North Carolina where she spotted a Kennedy Valve hydrant that was painted red, blue and green. While we love to see those beautiful red hydrants, it's nice every now and then to see a hydrant showing off some different colors.
